when all else fails, just throw shit together for a meal.
but when it you put all this good shit together, you should make it again. and again.
the throw together meal
makes 3 meals
butternut squash, peeled and cubed
purple cabbage, shredded
1. preheat oven to 350 and toss butternut squash on a tin foiled cookie sheet with olive oil and salt. roast until tender. 30-40 minutes depending on your oven.
2. in a glass dish, place chicken with whatever spices you wish (i usually go with red pepper flakes, s&p, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper), bake until cooked through.
3. in a large pot on the stove, toss in shredded cabbage, an inch of water at the bottom, and salt. cover pot and let water boil and steam the cabbage.
4. eat. combine everything on your plate and add all the sriracha your heart desires. horesradish goes with the cabbage perfectly.
