Recently, I have been making a lot of lists. It might be because I need to feel a little accomplished with everything going on around me. Or it has to do with the fact that I have so much shit to do and nothing will get done unless I write it down. I don't have much faith in my memory these days.
My favorite list so far: Things to Buy.
I have been holding off on buying anything before the move. For two reasons: I don't want to carry more things than necessary and I don't know what the package situation will be at my new apartment. So instead I just write them all down and stash money away for the purchases.
Without actually seeing my apartment, I have no clue what will fit or what won't. Hence the reason I sold all my furniture. And I didn't want to carry it. But I am really excited about having a fresh start in my apartment.
I'm still keeping my bedding and a couple rugs, but other than that...ALL NEW. Obviously one thing at a time. I'm not made of money. But I did plant a money tree. I'll let you know how that works out.
I did just find out the living space [bedroom/living room/dining room] is a 12'x13' room.
DO YOU KNOW HOW SMALL THAT IS?!
Cue the freaking out.
Guess I should think about downsizing to a twin bed. Ha. This is humorous. I can't wait to see what I can do with the space.
Cover the walls in mirrors? Ceilings too? That'll make it seem bigger.
Maybe a murphy bed isn't such a bad idea.
This is all i think about.
